Shane
was born on May 29, 1962. He is the middle
child of three boys to John and Joan Ellis. He was educated in Brisbane
during his primary school years, Tweed River High School at Tweed Heads during
his secondary schooling and completed his education at Queensland University of
Technology (QUT) in Brisbane.
Shane believes he has a lot of real world, business and life experience, having left home prior to completing his High School Certificate and studying his Law degree externally while working for legal firms on the southern end of the Gold Coast. He was admitted to practice as a lawyer in Queensland, New South Wales and to the High Court of Australia in 1988. Until recently he headed up the firm of Shane Ellis Lawyers with a staff of 30 where his main focus was on the firm’s marketing, quality of service and presence on the Gold Coast. With Shane at its helm the firm was recognised for the exceptional quality of its service by winning back-to-back awards in the 2002, 2003 and 2004 Gold Coast Bulletin’s readers’ survey for the Best Legal Firm on the Gold Coast. (The awards have not been offered since that time.) Shane has now moved away from a primary focus on law to specialise in teaching and training in Human Excellence via his business The 7 Simple Secrets . . .. He has taken the time to acquire knowledge in the fields in which he wishes to flourish and, as a result, has become a very wealthy man.
